Responding to the Invitation to Serve Your Community

Our Mission

At the RSVP of Northeast Kansas, our mission is to provide our citizens, ages 55 and older, a variety of opportunities to participate more fully in the life of their community through significant volunteer service.

What is RSVP?

RSVP engages people age 55 and older in a diverse range of volunteer activities. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choices for the volunteer by providing opportunities to serve either one time or on a regular basis.

RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of volunteers in order to support the work of many local non-profit organizations throughout the state. Volunteers cook & package meals for disabled and elderly individuals, tutor children, provide transportation for veterans & cancer patients to medical appointments, and much more.

In Kansas, RSVP is a network of projects utilizing the experience, skills, talents, interests, and creativity of adults age 55 and over.

Without monetary compensation, RSVP volunteers are committed to sharing their life experiences to help address Six Key Objectives:

Education

Improve graduation rates for students; Improve grade-level performance.

Healthy Futures
